"Snag Going to South Asia" (September 3, 2003)

I just got off of the phone with the South Asian Embassy concerning my visa that would permit me to travel there late next week and I’m having some problems. The clerk refuses to issue my visa on the last page of my passport (all the other pages are full) and says that I need to add pages. There’s only one problem, adding pages to my passport would take 2 weeks and I leave on Sunday! I have gotten the supervisor’s number and was told to discuss the matter with him tomorrow morning at 10am.

Would you please pray that God would give me favor with this man (his name is KA) Pray that he will be in his office, answer my call, and approve the issuance of my visa immediately.

If for some reason the visa is not issued, please pray that I will have wisdom on how to redirect my trip – whether to spend more time in Calcutta, India where some strategic meetings will be taking place. Also pray that I will be able to work things out with the airlines to make the adjustments needed to accommodate this potential change in plans.
