"The Passion" (Tennessee - January 2004)

This weekend Catherine and I have been asked to lead a college ministry retreat focusing on "The Passion of Christ". As you know with all of the media buzz about Mel Gibson's incredible film on the subject, society is asking many questions right now. It is our desire to equip these young leaders in a way that they can be on the forefront providing answers as to the purpose of Christ's Passion. Please pray that we would be covered by the Holy Spirit and that our conversations and teaching times would be honoring to the One that suffered and died that we might inherit eternal life.

I also wanted to make you aware of an incredible resource that will help you to minister on the same subject. John Piper has released a new book called The Passion of Jesus Christ: Fifty Reasons Why Christ Suffered and Died. I recommend it highly!

Thank you for your prayers in advance. We wouldn't want to do ministry without you!
