"Traveling to Tacna" (Peru - October 2003)

THANK YOU FOR HOLDING THE ROPE THUS FAR. EVERYTHING HAS GONE VERY SMOOTHLY FROM ALL OF OUR TEAM MAKING THEIR CONNECTIONS TO ATLANTA ALL THE WAY DOWN TO OUR BUS WAITING FOR US ON ARRIVAL HERE IN LIMA. NO PROBLEMS.

SEVERAL OF US HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE THE GOSPEL WITH PEOPLE ON THE FLIGHT. I WAS SITTING NEXT TO A SWEET PERUVIAN ELDERLY WOMAN NAMED NILDA. AFTER SHARING THE GOSPEL WITH HER SHE ASKED FOR MY CARD AND SAID SHE WANTED TO CALL ME ONCE SHES BACK IN THE STATES BECAUSE SHE WANTS TO LEARN MORE ABOUT CHRIST!

WE ARE ABOUT TO HAVE OUR TEAM MEETING AND THEN WE HAVE A SHORT FLIGHT DOWN TO TACNA. ALL OF THE TEAM MEMBERS ARE DOING WELL. WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT WHAT GOD IS DOING IN OUR MIDST. THERE IS A TRUE SPIRIT OF HUMILITY AND SERVANT LEADERSHIP . . . SOMETHING ONLY THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN DO.
PLEASE PRAY TODAY FOR A SAFE FLIGHT TO TACNA. PAT POWELL AND I WILL BE TEACHING A CONFERENCE PREPARING THE CHURCHES THERE TO WITNESS TO MUSLIMS . . . A GROWING COMMUNITY THERE. THEN WE WILL HAVE OUR OPENING RALLY. PRAY FOR UNITY IN THE SPIRIT AND OF PURPOSE. THANKS!
